Utah Propane Furnace Service
Central furnaces are the most common types of propane furnaces and they include propane wall furnaces and propane combo heaters. Central heating systems, or forced air propane furnaces, are the most popular among the propane heating options. These propane run central furnaces are designed for maximum safety and are well suited for new construction because of their space conservation capability. About Propane Furnaces
Propane furnaces can fit in a small closet and can be installed and vented in several different ways. The electronic ignition inside a propane furnace allows homeowners the ability to turn on the burners only when the fuel is required. A standing pilot light is not necessary with a Utah propane furnace (which also conserves energy).
Propane gas furnaces also have unique vent dampers, also called flappers, which are located in the flue. These dampers automatically shut when you heat demand is at capacity trapping the remaining heat within. Once heat is again needed, the damper then opens before you even switch on the burners, allowing the combustion fumes to be released so the burners can ignite only when the flapper is open. This process also ensures that you are conserving energy and using energy only when the propane heating is needed.
