A Furnace Tune-up Includes More Than Cleaning The Door

Winter is coming! So there is no better time than now to tune up your furnace and prepare it to keep you and your family warm. In this episode, we’re discussing the furnace maintenance included in that tune-up. We go over what we do and how it helps keep your furnace running well for years.

The owner’s manual for your furnace lists maintenance to help you get the best performance out of your unit. It often has a statement that says, “…in addition to the maintenance you perform yourself, your system should be inspected regularly by a properly trained technician.”

That is what a tune-up is. When done right, a thorough tune-up can fix minor issues, find problems, and help your system run well. Like you can skip an oil change and still drive your car, you can skip tuning up your furnace. And like an oil change, skipping it can cause it to wear out much quicker.

If you do get your furnace tuned up, it can go a long way in keeping you and your family safe and warm for years. We go over our top-to-bottom list of everything our technicians maintain in the video. It includes everything from checking the thermostat to inspecting the circuitry. That way it can keep your home warm this winter.

If you live in Utah, Any Hour Services has an entire department that performs tune-ups all year. Our certified HVAC technicians would be happy to help keep your home warm this winter. You can give us a call or schedule your appointment online.
