What a cable does not do is fix the problem.When a cable goes down a line, all it does is poke a hole through any roots or other blockages. That can allow a camera to fit down the line to find out what’s causing the backups you’re seeing. But when you cut roots like that, they have faster access to any water getting out. They grow back faster and stronger with every cable.
