If you have equipment that is under warranty from the manufacturer, this usually covers the parts / equipment. It does not include labor to repair or replace the equipment.

Your technician can contact the manufacturer / distributor to verify whether the parts or equipment are in stock or have to be shipped. They can also provide you with options for installation of the replacement parts or equipment.

Any Hour Services only warranties parts, materials, and equipment we supply to perform the job. This way, if there is an issue, we have access to the correct parts to replace or repair the work performed. Therefore, when we install customer-supplied materials, we do not warranty the supplied materials. We do warranty the labor and workmanship or the work performed.

Additionally, we do not warranty work performed if the customer chooses to make a temporary repair. The technicians document such cases and make this known before any work begins.

If there is an issue you believe to be under warranty that can't wait until Monday, please call another company to fix your issue. If you have to pay for work that is under warranty from Any Hour Services, we will reimburse you the cost of the repairs that were made on Sunday, up to $250. Contact us Monday and a manager can help you submit your invoice for reimbursement.

There are several large heating projects that we are willing to show you what options are available and the visit doesn’t cost you anything; replacing your furnace, reconfiguring your duct work, installing a ductless mini split system, etc. This is not a complete list so call us if you have questions about your project.

I have asked our HVAC supervisors to give me ballpark prices in the past and they usually answer with a long list of questions that they need answered before being able to give a price. Until our HVAC technician sees your heating system, they won’t give a ballpark price.

Most ballpark prices are a guess. Another company might give a range that they hope will cover the cost to do the job. And most of the time they have to come back and ask for more money. Our experience has shown that a ballpark price is usually not in anyone’s best interest.

The prices you are quoted come out of our pricing guide. We have looked at the most common tasks we are asked to perform and figured out the average time to perform the task, cost of the materials and the cost associated with running a heating and air conditioning business that is able to stand behind that work.

To come up with the price to complete the work on your heating system, your HVAC technician will figure out the tasks needed to complete the work. Each task has a price associated with it. Your technician will add those tasks together to come up with your total. This method allows us to identify tasks that don’t need to be performed on your project and save you money where we can.

This also allows us to be fair and transparent when pricing the work you need done on your heating system. What I mean by fair and transparent is, the cost to perform the work should have nothing to do with how nice a neighborhood someone lives in. When designing our pricing guide, we asked ourselves, “what does it take to perform this task” NOT “how much can we get a person to pay”.

A:

When you charge by the hour, you can’t give a price until after the job is finished. And we don’t want you to have to wait till the end of the job to find out how much it cost.

We believe there are too many variables that make “charging by the hour” more of a win for the company, not the homeowner. If an HVAC technician has to go get a part, is slower than another technician, the job takes longer than expected, etc. — are all things that a homeowner has no control over but ends up paying the price for. There’s no accountability on the plumbing company to have their trucks stocked better, train their plumbers better or run their business more efficiently.

There are many other reasons but they all revolve around us trying to do right by everyone involved; the homeowner, the HVAC technician, and the company.

Call Now

A:

It is rare to find 2 heating contractors that charge the same price. Without digging into the details of your specific heating project, it is hard to know exactly why. Our prices are based on what it takes to do the job, not what another company charges.

Most HVAC service/construction companies are started by an HVAC technician that is trained to be a technician, learning the HVAC trade. They are not trained in how to run a business. This is why so many heating and cooling companies come and go.

Most of the heating and air conditioning companies that have been around for a long time were started by an HVAC technician that happened to be good at business too. This is also why you see so many heating companies spring up during a good economy, most of them a one-man band. Unfortunately, they have to close their doors when there is an economic downturn.

There are so many little things that go into running a business and all of those costs have to be taken into consideration when pricing your goods and services. A lot of HVAC companies don’t take into account all of the expenses associated with doing the job and perform guesswork when coming up with prices – their price can be higher or lower than another company’s price. This could be one explanation why our price is different than theirs.

Replacing a furnace is one of those heating projects that an HVAC technician needs to see before quoting a price. The issue we run into is many furnaces are sized incorrectly. A proper load calculation or heat loss was never run for the home, a basement has been added, or the home has been remodeled.

If you need your furnace replaced, one of our certified HVAC supervisors can come to your home and quote you a price after inspecting your existing heating system. This visit is free. Call to schedule an appointment.

The prices you are quoted come out of our pricing guide. We have looked at the most common tasks we are asked to perform and figured out the average time to perform the task, the cost of the materials, and the cost associated with running a drain business that is able to stand behind that work.

To calculate the cost of your drain project, your plumber will determine the tasks needed. Each task has a price associated with it, which your plumber will add together to arrive at your total. This method allows us to identify and rule out unnecessary tasks, prioritizing fairness and transparency (while saving you money).

Our pricing method is not influenced by the neighborhood someone lives in but is designed to be fair and transparent. When we designed our pricing guide, we asked ourselves, “What does it take to perform this task?” NOT, “How much can we get a person to pay?” This commitment to honest, clear pricing reflects our respect for our clients.

The staff answering our phones and scheduling appointments are not technicians. They do not understand how the plumbing in your home works or how to price the work you need help with.

Our process involves a comprehensive on-site assessment by our technicians to ensure no crucial details are missed. This thorough approach that looks at all variables is how we can provide you with a price that remains unchanged from the start to the completion of the work: the price we give you before the begins is what the cost will be after the work is performed. Here at Any Hour Services, we believe in honest pricing.

Pricing FAQ

A:

Our pricing is fair and transparent. It’s based on a fixed-price guide that considers the time, materials, and costs of running a reliable home services business. We don’t charge by the hour or inflate prices based on your neighborhood. We ask ourselves, “What does it take to get the job done?,” not “How much can we charge?”

Before we price your plumbing job, our licensed plumber will perform an in-home assessment to evaluate the tasks required. We only charge for what’s necessary—no fluff, no extra costs. This allows us to pinpoint areas where we can save you money without sacrificing quality.

A:

Hourly rates can be unpredictable, leaving you unsure of the final cost until the job is done. We believe in upfront, fixed pricing based on the work itself—not guesswork. You won’t pay for delays or mistakes, and we hold ourselves accountable to ensure there are no surprises.

Call Now

A:

We prefer to price based on the job and not what other companies charge. Hourly rates can lead to unexpected costs for homeowners, making the final price unpredictable. By pricing the work itself, we make sure you’re only paying for what’s actually needed—keeping things fair and efficient.

Water heater replacements vary. Often, older units require updates to meet safety standards. Common items missing from many water heaters are flexible gas lines, expansion tanks, earthquake straps, gas sediment trap, upgrade exhaust venting, etc.

For an accurate quote, one of our licensed plumbers will inspect your existing system and provide a FREE estimate.

A:

Our phone staff are not licensed plumbers, so they can’t quote prices that would be accurate to your project’s needs. A trained plumber needs to see the job firsthand to give you a clear, upfront price. Quotes over the phone are a guess, and we prefer transparency over uncertainty.

Call Now

A:

Ballpark prices can be misleading. Until we see the job, we can’t quote your final estimate accurately. Other companies may give an estimate range, but that often leads to additional costs and surprises later. Instead, we focus on giving you a fair price once a licensed plumber can assess the job properly.
