Know the Price Before Any Work Begins

When it comes to sewer and drain repairs, no one likes surprises. That is why we send a trained drain technician to your home to evaluate your situation. The price you receive is in writing, has no hidden fees and is guaranteed not to change as long as the work you want done on your drains or sewer system doesn’t change.

One of our drain technicians will come to your home to look at what work is being performed and where. Our first priority is to fully understand what you want done so we can show you different options.

Because every situation is unique, we insist that a drain technician see the job before a price is given so there are no crucial details missed. If there is a way to save you money on your drain project, we want to find it before giving you a price.

It can cost $269 to clear a clogged drain. Below you will find a few internet specials. If you have a clogged drain, our drain technicians carry different size augers on their trucks. They can send them down the line to break up the obstruction.

If you are looking to replace your sewer main line, one of our sewer supervisors will come to your home and inspect your sewer main line with a high definition camera and show you what options are available. The visit doesn't cost you anything, so call us if you have questions about replacing your sewer main line.

I have asked our sewer supervisors to give me ballpark prices in the past and they usually answer with a long list of questions that they need answered before being able to give a price. Until our sewer department supervisor inspects your sewer main line, they won't give a ballpark price.

Most ballpark prices are a guess. Another company might give a range that they hope will cover the cost to do the job. And most of the time they have to come back and ask for more money. Our experience has shown that a ballpark price is usually not in anyone's best interest.

The prices you are quoted come out of our pricing guide. We have looked at the most common tasks we are asked to perform and figured out the average time to perform the task, cost of the materials and the cost associated with running a drain/rooter business that is able to stand behind that work.

To come up with the price to complete the work on drain/sewer system, your drain technician will figure out the tasks needed to complete the work. Each task has a price associated with it. Your technician will add those tasks together to come up with your total. This method allows us to identify tasks that don't need to be performed on your project and save you money where we can.

This also allows us to be fair and transparent when pricing the work you need done on your drain/sewer system. What I mean by fair and transparent is, the cost to perform the work should have nothing to do with how nice a neighborhood someone lives in. When designing our pricing guide, we asked ourselves, "what does it take to perform this task" NOT "how much can we get a person to pay".

It is rare to find 2 drain/sewer contractors that charge the same price. Without digging into the details of your specific drain/sewer project, it is hard to know exactly why. Our prices are based on what it takes to do the job, not what another company charges.

Most drain/rooter companies are started by a plumber that is trained to be a plumber, learning the drain clearing/rooter service trade. They are not trained in how to run a business. This is why so many drain clearing companies come and go.

Most of the sewer/rooter companies that have been around for a long time were started by a plumber that happened to be good at business too. This is also why you see so many drain cleaning/rooter service companies spring up during a good economy, most of them a one-man band. Unfortunately, they have to close their doors when there is an economic downturn.

There are so many little things that go into running a business that is there when you need them, not only today but for years to come. All of those costs have to be taken into consideration when pricing your goods and services. A lot of sewer/drain companies don't take into account all of the expenses associated with doing the job and they do the best they can coming up with a price, sometimes it is a bit of a guess. They can be higher or lower than another company's price. This could be one explanation why our price is different than theirs.

Replacing a main sewer line is one of those projects that a supervisor from our sewer department needs to see before quoting a price. Since the sewer mainline is underground, we have to send a camera down the line and inspect the damage and the best way to go about repairing it.

If you need your sewer mainline replaced, one of our sewer supervisors can come to your home and quote you a price after inspecting your existing drain/sewer system. This visit is free. Call to schedule an appointment.

We do not have a different set of prices for doing work in the evenings or on weekends. The price for working on your drain/sewer system will be the same regardless of the time of day.

No, our drain technicians don't quote a price until they have seen your drain issue. Once they quote a price, it doesn't change, no matter how long it takes. At any time you want to add more tasks, your drain technician will let you know how much it would cost to perform the extra work.

When it comes to our drain clearing specials, if we can not clear your clogged drain, you don't pay us.

Yes, in addition to our coupons, we offer senior discounts and military discounts. You can receive 5% off or any special promotions we may be running, whichever is greater. You can ask your drain technician to show you your savings.

You can pay for the the drain work we perform with cash, check, or any major credit card. We collect, in full, upon completion of the project. If you would like to make monthly payments, we do have many financing options available through 3rd party finance companies, OAC. Your drain technician can talk to you about your options.

Want help with this?

When you charge by the hour, you can't give a price until after the job is finished. And we don't want you to have to wait till the end of the job to find out how much it cost.

We believe there are too many variables that make "charging by the hour" more of a win for the company, not the homeowner. If a drain technician has to go get a part, is slower than another technician, the job takes longer than expected, etc. -- are all things that a homeowner has no control over but ends up paying the price for. There's no accountability on the drain/rooter company to have their trucks stocked better, train their technicians better or run their business more efficiently.

There are many other reasons but they all revolve around us trying to do right by everyone involved; the homeowner, the drain technician, and the company.

We have used Any Hour for 7 years and are always pleased with their service. Today I had a furnace tune up scheduled and Murray came out. He was pleasant and informative showing me the problem with the furnace. I appreciate the time he took in answering my questions and concerns. We've always had great service with Any Hour and continue to call them whenever we need assistance with HVAC or plumbing. Most recently it was for a leak we found in our utility room that caused water to seep under the wall into the adjoining closet. Although we thought it was a plumbing issue at first, it was actually from AC handler. When Wes saw what a mess our utility room was—seriously, it was that bad—including an old, not-up-to-code water heater, he suggested making some improvements. We were never pressured into having this repairs/improvements done, but since we knew the water heater could go out at any moment, we figured who better than Any Hour to help us out. While Wes was turning our utility room around, we also had the AC handler pan cleaned and the pipe put in the right place so it could drain properly. Wes also installed a new faucet and fixed the p-trap and sink basket in our kitchen sink. We hadn't used the right side of the sink because it was leaking. This caused a backup of food and other gross stuff in the pipe. It smelled awful! It was a huge job that took about eight hours. We are so pleased with the care Wes took to make sure everything was done right, and bring our house up to code. Plus, he liked our dogs. Thanks Any Hour!

Chris was amazing to work with. He gave me many options to choose from and was fast, efficient, knowledgable and courteous. He treated my home as if it were his and made sure I understood all work done before he left. I hope I can get him back for all of my plumbing needs with Any Hour!11/5/19 - Jake B. fixed our furnace this morning and was fast, efficient and very friendly - everything we've come to expect from Any Hour. The only suggestion I would give is to be able to set an appt sooner than 4 days out. It's the busy season, but wait times for appts seem to be increasing on most services. GREAT COMPANY!

All the people that entered my home from a quote, install, and inspection after install were very kind and respectful to me and my home! From wearing gloves and boot covers, down to laying carpet runners to keep my new carpet clean! It was well worth going with them and having a whole new system and my house is way more comfortable to my liking, Also just got the first utility bill and it was cut more than half from the month prior! The system runs so much quieter than my last one too!

Tech was amazing. Plumber came today to fix blown out pipe. Cut out broken pipe then the garbage disposal was broken...Charges were outrageous for the disposal... over $400 when then same disposal at Lowe's for $100 or Dirks for $90.Seemed like he just kept finding more ... (to break). Also I have the biggest chicken of a dog ... loves everyone but did Not like the plumber today. Tech was amazing and appreciate all he did!!Not so much the guy today.Sad :-(

Edit to Add: 2, almost 3 years later we just had our furnace replaced and hvac installed instead of a swamp cooler. Marc was a great salesman. Answered lots of questions. The install was fast and Mike just finished a follow up inspection. The service was awesome and definitely recommend Any Hour!Original: Russell W. was awesome. We called about a leak and other issues we had with plumbing. He worked hard to get everything done in one day - we needed a new water heater, main line shutoff, and a water line for our fridge. He was also great with our very curious 2 and 3 year old daughters. I definitely recommend the company and will ask for Russell specifically if we have future needs.
