Ceiling fans help keep your home comfortable by circulating the air in the room. Hot air rises and cold air falls, so if it’s allowed to sit, your home can feel colder in the winter and hotter in the summer. A ceiling fan pushes that air around, evening out the temperature in your home.
When ceiling fans are working, there isn’t a lot you need to do to keep them working well. Cleaning off the fan blades and tightening the screws is often enough to keep a working fan doing its job. But if they stop working, things can get complicated. We go over how in the video.
